CHICKEN CHARM SQUARE TOTE
Using the Accucut Studio cutter and the 5" charm square die and the 2" prairie points die, I quickly cut fabric for several totes.  The handles are long enough to hang from your shoulder or just carry at your side. Inside, plenty of pockets, a ribbon loop to hang your keys from and a sturdy purse bottom, with removable cover.  What's not to like?

New ACCUCUT dies arriving this week...  So far the two 5" circle die, 2" praire point die, and the large and small diamond dies....OH, my wheels are turnin'....I can think of several quick projects to make with these dies.....stay tuned....photos to follow!

Sitting in the sunshine, on Allen street, watching the Helldorado parade...almost nothing sweeter.

I was talking with my friends, Anna, Judy, Erin and Polly...and we were talking about our love for fabrics and sewing when the idea for a new sewing and quilting group came to me.  Oh, I know, there have been quilting groups in the past, and may even be one or two still active..but I wanted to start a NEW group.  This group will be geared more for the beginner..with the addition of gals who just want to learn, or teach the others.....or sit and chat..(we seem to be very good at that) and to have a grand time...we are very good at that too.   Meeting places will vary, but we will start our meetings at The Tombstone Senior Center at the Old Firestation.  Debbie has given us permission to meet there.  We are not part of the Senior Center..just meeting there.  Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. is the time for meetings.  The first meeting date will be posted here....I'm shooting for the end of October.  Please email me with your interist... tombstonepiecemakers@hotmail.com  .  I'd love your suggestions, even if you don't plan to join us in person, you can be an ONLINE MEMBER.

Some of the things I want to do:
     Have a "free stash" bin.
Have a block of the month group.
Have kits and patterns for beginners.
Promote SEWING FOR SOLDIERS in Sierra Vista
          (I make pillowcases for them.)
Encourage members to keep a TOMBSTONE PIECEMAKERS NOTEBOOK
Arrange "ROAD TRIPS" to local guilds and shops.
Promote Tombstone, Az. and its wonderful events.
